Made him fried rice yesterday. With minced pork and peas. He loved it!

Simplicity... yummy

I was watching David Rocco's Dolve Vita yesterday on channel16 (in between CSI advert). There's this super simple recipe that sounds yummy indeed.

Half some cherry tomatoes and toss them into olive oil with some garlic.
Lightly stir fry until the tomatoes begin to soften.
Add in boiled pasta and grated pepperoni cheese (heaps of them) and stir.
Top with some basil.
Ready to serve in minutes - add heaps of pepperoni cheese again and eat.

That reminds me of my aglia olio with cili padi.
One day... I'll cook the above for Shawn (minus cili padi)

Gai Choy Soup

Last night was a trial with tomatoes. My mum cooked Gai Choy soup (Chinese mustard cabbage), with tomatoes and pork ribs. He loved the soup a lot! Yummy - if it's not for Shawn, we would have put chilli in. Hahaa... He had it with steamed pork/egg.

Chicken soup

Yesterday my mum boiled one kampung chicken, added celery and some ginger. Shawn asked for more more foupfoup. He had it with his regular steam cod fish and greenies. Yummy!
